Niacinamide vs. Salicylic Acid: Which One First?

Niacinamide is a barrier-builder. It calms inflammation, regulates oil and fades dark marks left behind by old breakouts. It’s gentle enough for daily use, twice a day.

Salicylic acid is an exfoliant. It dives into pores and dissolves the trapped sebum and dead cells that turn into blackheads and whiteheads.

## How to layer them - **Morning:** cleanse → niacinamide → moisturizer → SPF - **Night, 3–4 nights/week:** cleanse → salicylic serum → moisturizer - **Off nights:** cleanse → niacinamide → moisturizer

Never apply both on bare skin within seconds of each other unless your routine has already accommodated it. If your skin feels tight, reduce salicylic acid to two nights a week.
